POLISH
Our polishing is a three-step process to achieve a permanent shine. We start with stone rubbing to eliminate serious imperfections. We then use various grades of sandpaper to even the surface of Swaminarayan marble murti. Lastly, we use diamond polishing powder and a soft cloth to provide it with a shiny, mirror-like sheen. Alternatively, for a natural finish, we also provide the idol with a matte finish. This soft polish ensures the idol appears stunning for several decades. PAINTING
To paint this Swaminarayan marble murti, we use premium quality oil-based Winsor & Newton paints. These are highly pigmented, light-fast, and have a natural, light-fast finish. Even the colors can be customized here—devotees can have the dress, jewelry, or face colors selected according to choice. Pure 24 carat gold foil is used for the jewelry so that it becomes rich and real. We apply a lacquer finish over the painting to seal it from dust, moisture, and fading of colours.
